Life in the Month of May...

So I really feel that I should first apologize for being M.I.A. for so long but things have been CRAZY!

Things got kicked off in May with the Jack Wolf Memorial Golf Tournament! It is always such a nice fun day with family and friends raising money for an awesome cause, and Brandon even won the longest drive competition!

Working Hard at the Registration Table

Brandon and his team being silly

Aren't they cute?!

And of course a serious pose

Then we got a great treat! Kristin finally came home!! And in true Willingham and friends tradition we welcome her home with a Cinco de Mayo fiesta!

It's so good to have her back in Texas!

Then it was time to get one of my best friends, Jennie Lucas, married off!! Brandon and I both took a half of day off of work to head to Austin and while on our travels we found the cutest sign that Brandon insisted I take a snap shot of.

Then before we knew it it was WEDDING DAY!! It was a long day of making floral arrangements and setting up table decorations but it was ALL worth it to see my beautiful friend get ready to walk down the aisle to the man of her dreams. I even got a chance to snap a quick shot with the bride before the big moment..

Next came the ceremony and it was nothing short of amazingly sweet. I cried as soon as I saw her walk down the aisle. I'm a sucker what can I say! After the I do's it was time for pictures!

then we were off to eat and dance the night away! Among some of the best moments of the night was the first dance for the bride and groom..

and the father daughter dance..

and I even snapped a beautiful shot of the bride looking on for the Mother-Son dance..

I even got a change to snag a quick picture with my main squeeze

and a self shot to document the crazy wind!

After all the quick pics I got a chance to play DJ for the rest of the night to make sure things went super smooth after all the other drama of the day but I did get a chance to run inside for the cake cutting

I love these two so much and I was super grateful to get to share in their special day!

What's been going on in your month of May?

Well like I always say I'll try to be better at staying on top of my blog but lets face it I probably won't!
Until the next time!

Lately Happenings.

Well it has been a few weeks since I've blogged! I cannot believe that I have been so bad about blogging!!

Well needless to say there has been a lot of things going on these days. First off one of my best friends, Kristin, went to London and then to Africa for TWO whole weeks!! Keep in mind that we usually have weekly girls nights for wine and sometimes dance moms and its been a crazy two weeks without having her around but the great news is that she comes home this weekend!! Just in time for her and her hubby Oliver's one year wedding anniversary!

We also had the priviliage of celebrating one of my other great friends, Rachael's birthday! We all met up at Mamacitas in Webster for dinner- I had never been there before and it was actually pretty good!! Then it was off to Big Texas for us to the Curtis Grimes concert, where we got to meet up with another friend of mine April for a fun night of music and dancing.

April and I at Big Texas
Me, Amy, Rachael and Cacey and of course Curtis Grimes

All of the ladies of the night
The concert was super fun and we also learned that we need to put on a Curtis Grimes time out after that night! We all decided that at our age shutting down the bar on a Thursday and trying to make it to work on Friday is just a little bit complicated.

Other than that things have been fairly low key, however, we have the Jack Wolf Memorial Golf Tournament this weekend, then a my nephew turns 3!, then my wonderful friend Jennie Lucas is getting married, and then we are off to Indiana for AJ and Christine's wedding! So it goes without saying that there will be a lot more blogging to come!

Until next time!

Alyssa & Jason Chambers

Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of being the Matron of Honor in one of my best friends weddings. She is one of the sweetest, smartest and most caring people I know so that is why it was such an honor for her to want me to be up there next to her as she said "I do" to her forever.

We started the morning off by arriving at the venue, Butler's Courtyard, in League City and hanging out in the cottage with each other as we got hair and make up done.
I was the first one up with hair :)

Then it was time for the lovely Taylor from Sunkissed and Made Up to work her magic with my make up

And then it was time for every to start getting dressed for the big ceremony!

And then you always need a great group picture!

The lovely bride and bridesmaids :)

Then the big moment was upon us and it was time to watch Alyssa and Jason become Mr. and Mrs. Chambers!!

First Kiss!!!

For the first time Mr. and Mrs. Jason Chambers!!

and then it was time to party!!

Me and the lovely bride

The husband and I are the reception

The Brides Cake

The Grooms Cake

and last but not least posing for some of their "goodbye" photos :)

It was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been in or seen and I cannot wait for Mr. and Mrs. Chambers to come back from their honeymoon and tell me all about it!

What did you all do this weekend?

Until the next time!

Alyssa's Last Single Weekend!!

This weekend I had the honor of helping throw a bachelorette party for one of my very best friends Alyssa. Now knowing that Alyssa isn't really into the super girly and raunchy traditions of it all we kept things pretty low key, however, being the friend that I am I felt I should take it upon myself and at least try to embarrass her as much as possible.

I started my prep on Saturday morning with a little truck art since I knew I would be driving the ladies around to our destinations.

Once the car was all decorated and loaded up I headed over to the bride-to-be's house and waited for the rest of the ladies to show up. While we waited we got to play with my cute nephews Junior and Fletcher :) and even squeezed in a few pictures with the lady of the evening!

Me and the lovely bride-to-be!
Once the ladies were all accounted for we loaded up in the party truck an headed down to Webster for some yummy Mexican food at Chuy's per the brides request for some creamy jalapeno dip!

Then it was time to get the party started with a few of their "Perfect" margaritas!

After dinner and a lot of convincing to try to get Alyssa to get to Renos and sing the night away we headed back to her house to have an old fashioned girls night. We played apples to apples and even turned it into a drinking game with one rule- Alyssa had to drink out of the biggest penis straw I've ever seen! (Special Thanks to Brittany for that!!) Now most brides wouldn't be hesitant to go ahead and hit up the penis straw but Alyssa isn't really into all that hype you can certainly tell from these pictures we snapped of her!

But FINALLY she gave in!!

After our game of Apples to Apples and random story tellings we decided to wrap up the night with a movie classic- Mean Girls :) Not everyone made it through the entire movie- ok well no one but Hannah made it through the movie- all of the old ladies called it a night pretty quickly.

The next morning we wrapped up the weekend with a girls breakfast at IHOP- Now the countdown begins for the big day!!

XOXO
