We're Going on a Road Trip!

This year Brandon and I were blessed enough to travel to Indiana to visit our family for the next Hayford wedding!! Usually we only get a chance to go around Thanksgiving, however, this year we are going 3 times! It is so nice to get out of Texas for a bit and visit somewhere else and what a better reason to get away than to welcome another Mrs. Hayford ino the fold!

We first went in July right after our wedding anniversary and celebrate their joint Bachelor and Bachelorette parties in the beautiful Louisville, Kentucky.
The lovely bride to be Hannah and myself.

The first night the ladies got all dressed up and headed to downtown Louisville to the Easton Corbin concert and some bar hopping :) We definitely had a little too much fun during that night but it made it all worth while to see how much fun Hannah was having. We even had some fun with the boys (without their knowledge hehehe)

The next day we ventured back into Louisville to go with Hannah to her dress fitting. We were a little early so that other girls and myself decided to put the only single girl left (even thought she got engaged shortly there after!!) in a few wedding dresses of our choosing while we waited. Then it was time for Hannah to try on her dress and let me tell you when she walked out I cried!! She was so beautiful!!

After the dress fitting we did a little shopping around and then headed back to the hotel for some drinks and to get ready for our group date with the boys that evening. We went to a really yummy BBQ place on Bardstown Road,

and then bowling and that is always an experience with the Hayford boys because they are so competive but we all had so much fun.
Then on Sunday it was time to go home :( but not to fret we got to go back in only a few weeks!!!

XOXO

Our One Year Anniversary

This year on July 9th, Brandon and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. Scary to admit but time flew by! I never really realized it was going so fast until I blinked and it was time to celebrate. Thankfully for me, I have an amazing husband who had a few surprises for me throughout the day.

It started with him having BEAUTIFUL roses delivered to me while I was at work. Which in turn made all the ladies I work with jealous.

Then when I came home he had a bottle of wine waiting for me while I got cleaned up and waited on him to get home so we could go to dinner for our anniversary, so I chose to take out my Bride cup to keep with the theme of the day.

and once he came home he took me to a lovely dinner at Perry's in Friendswood since I had never been and we actually had a gift card left over from Christmas. Dinner was amazing and the company was even better. I am so thankful to the day to have him in my life and for better or worse I think we belong together.

Until the next time,
Jennifer

24 Years Young

Well before I knew it I was turning 24. Not really sure when that happened or that I was very happy about it but then again I can't go down in age, so I decided to attempt to embrace it. Luckily for me I have a WONDERFUL bestie who took care of me the whole week!! That's right a week of presents :)

Day One was a lovely snack of full throttle and Jelly Beans!

Day Two- was an amazingly fatty breakfast :)
Day Three: Yummy Suckers!

Day Four: A mock copy of my truck

Day Five got a little crazy!! I got a lot of presents that day :)

Then on Saturday we followed up with a party at our house :)
We had so many people come by and so many fun and yummy shots off the shot block
However we figured out that stars were not a good thing to do again

Bestie Shots!!

And of course no birthday is complete without a cake!

And finally we topped off the Birthday week with an Aaron Watson concert at Big Texas!
All in All it was one of my best birthdays ever :) Can't wait to see what 25 might be like!!

Our Wedding Day: 07.09.11: Part Four

Well once we were headed to the church it was all down hill from there. We were welcomed in straight away and went into our first dance.
and Brandon ended it very smoothly
and then since our pictures took a little longer than anticipated we went straight into serving dinner and of course Brandon had to be first in line! But our food was SO GOOD!! We did BBQ from Gabby's and it was probably one of the best meals we've ever had.

Our first meal as Husband and Wife!!

Once dinner was done it was time for all of the other traditional events starting with the father-daughter and mother-son dances
and then there was mooooore dancing

then it was time to cut the BEST CAKES EVER!
then came the grooms cake
and Brandon just loved trying to "saw" down the trees on his cake- therefore the face :)
Then it was time to toss the boquet!
and then it was time for the garter toss
and even squeezed in some family pictures before it was time to go
and before we knew it, it was time for us to depart for our "Nightmoon"
By far this was one of the best nights of my life. Everything was so perfect and I got to marry my best friend and start my own happily ever after.
XOXO

Our Wedding Day: 07.09.11: Part Three

Once I was at the front of the church it felt like the eyes of Texas were upon us! However, with Brandon standing in front of me and holding my hands I knew that God would calm my nerves and let me enjoy this beautiful moment.

We said traditional vows and lit our gorgeous unity candles (Thank you Gloria!) and then it was time to have our first kiss as husband and wife!
and it was perfect!!
I knew from that moment on there would be a huge sigh of relief because we knew we had done it and that was the hardest part and it was over! But once again it was time to take pictures, Brandon's favorite part!
And they came out PHENOMENAL!
